Loyalty was the main theme within the two stories. In a Knight’s Tale William is jousting first for cash and then he wants to impress the heroine in the story. After the lady is impressed she askes him to start loosing his jousting matches and he does out of loyatly to her.
In Morte D’ Arthur the knights demonstrate their loyalty by going to battle when they are told to by King Arthur. They show loyalty to their King by doing whatever he is asking and not asking any questions about it.
